We pray that one day you will call our church home.
Current Worship Series
If you are a fan of Broadway musicals, you might think a sermon series entitled Defying Gravity would have something to do with the musical “Wicked”. If you are of a more scientific bent, you might think this series would have something to do with Sir Isaac Newton and the famous apple that startled him into discovering the forces that hold us on the earth. Actually, this series has nothing to do with those subjects, and everything to do with stewardship, and the gravitational pull that money and “things” can have on us.
In this series, we’ll be looking at the ways we get caught in harmful habits that affect our giving and our generosity, and consider some ways to improve and expand our stewardship. At the end of this series, you will be invited to make a pledge for your giving in 2018, as together we learn to defy gravity!
