Halloween ushers us into All Saints’ Day, when we remember the saints who have been an influence in our lives. Thanksgiving Day invites us to recall and be thankful for all of the blessings that God has poured out on us. So, the days between Halloween and Thanksgiving are the perfect time for us to remember those ordinary women and men who accomplished extraordinary things simply because they said “Yes!” when God asked them to do something on his behalf.

In this series, we’ll be looking at the lives of some of those nominated for “sainthood” by members of our congregation. Some of them lived their saintliness on the world stage; others have revealed their “inner saint” on a local level.

During this four-week series we will remember and give thanks to those saints, both well-known and anonymous, who have made a difference and explore how we might live as saints as well!
